RedBird Art Studio Receives $3,000 Indiana Arts Commission Grant

WARSAW, Ind. – RedBird Art Studio, a program of Cardinal Services, has received a $3,000 grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to support inclusive arts programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Kosciusko County.

The funding will be used to purchase art supplies, enhance studio resources, and support community outreach efforts, including exhibitions and public events. The grant will help RedBird Art Studio continue providing opportunities for participants to build artistic skills, gain confidence, engage with their communities, and explore entrepreneurial opportunities through the creation and sale of artwork.

During the 2026-2027 program year, RedBird Art Studio hopes to serve over 100 adults and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants will create and exhibit artwork throughout the community while developing skills in painting, fiber arts, jewelry-making, sculpture, and customer engagement.
