Warsaw, Ind. ─  On a recent visit to Cardinal Services, Franklin I. & Irene List Saemann Foundation representative Bob List presented Cardinal with a $65,000 grant for their general fund.

Since its inception in 1993, the Saemann Foundation has regularly provided funding to support Cardinal programs, including day services for people with disabilities, KABS, residential services, and children’s programs. In that time, the foundation awarded a total of nearly $240,000 to Cardinal alone, and more than $20 million overall.

List explained that his family has a strong history with Cardinal and that the foundation is pleased to add to that history through this grant. He explained that the foundation has a plan to spend down its assets with final distributions to be completed in June 2027.

Chief Community Impact Officer Vickie Lootens accepted the check, pointing out that the grant is especially useful to Cardinal as it is to be put toward their greatest need.

“We are deeply grateful to Bob and the Franklin I. & Irene List Saemann Foundation for this gift today, but also for the past 30 years of support and faith in Cardinal’s work. They have made a huge impact on Cardinal over the years, and a difference in the lives of the people we serve.”
