Cardinal Services Receives $10,000 KCCF Grant to Support Clinic and Call Center

Warsaw, Ind.  —  Cardinal Services has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation (KCCF) to support its On-Site Clinic and Call Center.

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation administers a variety of community funds that support programs improving quality of life across the region. This grant is made possible by the Leon and Belva Horn Community Fund, Jerry and Norma Ferguson Community Fund, Miles D. and Maxine I. Igo Community Fund, The Thomas J. LeHew Endowment Fund, and The George and Patricia Lenke Community Fund.

The funds awarded will support salaries and benefits for staff providing care and coordination services through the On-Site Clinic and Call Center. Through this work, more than 500 individuals are expected to be served, including approximately 137 residents of Kosciusko County.

The On-Site Clinic provides preventative and primary care services to individuals with complex needs, helping reduce barriers such as transportation and access challenges. The Call Center connects individuals to resources; coordinates care and provides real-time support to ensure needs are met.

These services are designed to improve health outcomes, increase preventative care utilization, and reduce reliance on non-urgent emergency department visits. Executive Director Marcie Arndt says the funding will strengthen access to critical healthcare services in the community.
