Peru, Indiana ─ Cardinal Services is pleased to announce the relocation of the Miami County WIC office to a new, more accessible location at 726 N Broadway, Peru. This move will allow for enhancements of services that will better meet the needs of participants. The clinic officially began operating at the new location on February 24. The previous location at 661 E Main St, Peru is now closed.

According to Cardinal Services’ WIC Director Stephanie Kneller, “WIC plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of young children and their families. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and support to women, infants, and children in our community, and this relocation will help us achieve that goal.”

The new clinic will offer the same comprehensive services, including:

  • Nutrition education and counseling
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Food assistance
  • Referrals to other health and social services

“We are excited be able to provide services in our new space,” added Kneller, “and we look forward to welcoming our participants to the new location and continuing to serve their needs.”

Cardinal Services began administering the WIC Program in Miami and Wabash Counties in October of 2021. They have been administering the WIC Program in Kosciusko County since 1996.
