Warsaw, Indiana ─ Cardinal Services has received an $8,000 grant from the Franklin I. & Irene List Saemann Foundation for the purchase of surveillance equipment for the Kosciusko Area Bus Service.

Once the system is installed, the cameras are expected to help improve the safety of KABS drivers and passengers. The system will video record the interior and exterior of the buses during transportation to help assure driver and passenger safety and record any traffic violations or accidents.

Cardinal Services Executive Director Vickie Lootens thanked the Saemann Foundation for their support adding, “Any time we can utilize resources and take measures to increase the health and safety of those we serve, we certainly will do so. We are grateful to the Saemann Foundation in helping us to do this.”
